Marcela was born in Arlington, VA, but raised in Honduras since she was one year old. Marcela grew up learning about coffee production at her family’s coffee plantation.
In 2008, she moved to US where she taught herself to speak English by watching American TV. In 2010 she attended the National Massage Therapy Institute and graduated as a Massage Therapist. Shortly after graduating, Marcela began work at a Massage Envy where she was eventually promoted to Lead Massage Therapist, managing all the therapist in the clinic. That same year she received an award as the Best Massage Therapist in our region.
“I love Honduran coffee and I’m a shoe addict. I enjoy being outside on a warm day. What I like about my job is that I get to watch my coworkers help patients. I see the process they go through and the result is amazing. I am going through the process now and I can say that this place can change your life for the better”
